Gemotions

The crowded concert venue was a cacophony of sound and movement, but for Sarah, it was a blur. The music, usually an escape, only seemed to heighten her senses. She kept bumping into people as she made her way through the throng, her movements jerky and erratic. She was waiting for Jake. He'd promised to meet her before the show.

She had a bad feeling about this, a tight, twisting sensation in her stomach that wouldn’t go away. The longer she waited, the more frantic she became. She had a strong aversion to being late, which made the wait even more unbearable.

As the lights dimmed and the stage was bathed in spotlights, she spotted him. He was with another woman, her arm linked with his, laughing and pointing toward the stage. Sarah felt a wave of dizziness, and she felt like she was trapped in a dream.
